Great staff, kind and helpful, speaking English very well. Very good location, close to the main train station (connection to the airport, too). Someone commented that area is not really nice/clean/safe, not pleasant smells are around... My experience was rather different. I felt quite safe and didn't register any strange smells on way between train station and hotel (4-5 min walk without suitcases, 7-8 min walk with luggage, along wide, well lighten streets and across parking lot). Clean and tidy hotel. Bright and light room, cute and cheerful. Comfy bad. Previous guests remarked the concept of glass walls/doors of toilet and shower, providing no privacy. Not in my room! Or - not anymore. Obviously hotel carefully read and respect reviews, doing their best to satisfy guests. Hence, glass walls/doors of bathroom section in my room were covered by opaque wallpaper. Breakfast is quite ok, with decent offer of hot and cold, salty and sweet food, including tea and coffee. Good value for money. My stay in Hello Hotel was more than pleasant. I will be glad to be their guest in future, as well as to recommend it to other travellers.

I haven't been to a 2 stars hotel...maybe since forever. And I was not sure what to expect, but the hotel exceeded my expectations, I honestly felt no difference from any 3 stars and maybe even higher with some aspects. Very friendly staff, always communicative, at the reception, the bar, the breakfast. Always with a smile - which is not always guaranteed in other hotels. The room is well packed and for one person it's ideal. Maybe a little on the small side for two. The furniture is well suited for shorter or longer stays, I could easily use the laptop (see picture). Breakfast was not pretentious, but it had good coffee and water and some fruit and some warm dishes (nice boiled and roasted potatoes). They would call a taxi for you, keep the luggage in a dedicated room, even boiled some food for my friend who was on a diet. Very nice and friendly staff creating a good atmosphere. Easy to reach the center with the Metro or even walking.

Good value for money, although not that far from paying just a bit extra and getting a hotel in a higher standard. The room is spacious, I traveled alone so the bathroom set up was fine by me, but in my case, the shower was separated by an additional glass "wall" so no one would see anything anyways. The location is quiet, and you can get comfortable anywhere in the city with the public transport or by walking. Gara du Nord is just a short walk away. Pretty safe too. The early check in fee is 50 RON. No kettle but you can ask for a hot water in the reception. They have a mini coffee shop downstairs too. TV with standard channels. Clean enough.

The people at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They buzzed an honest taxi company online for me several times, and the pick up was fast. My room was clean and the cleaning service did a good job even though I was only there for 2 days. I like the fact that they are ecological. They don't wash towels every day unless you tell them to, and they change the sheets only once every 3 days. I could adjust the heating and air conditioning easily and it worked very well. The price was right and it was a very, very good deal to stay there.

Location is really good for the Bucharest North railways station. Just couple minutes from it. Otherwise the location is not the best but then again quiet place. Some grocery stores and restaurants nearby. And not super far away from the old town but we only stayed there one night and didn't walk to old town. Room is clean and nice, nothign much to complain. I really liked when the reception asked which floor we wanted and other needs we may have about the room. Nice touch. Breakfast was nice, recommend to have it.
